Land Art - 10 and 11 September

On 10 and 11 September the Global Nomadic Art Project, "Stories of Rain" and Biotumelo are visiting the Crocodile River Reserve for an arts-encounter - land-art, performance arts and music.

The creative activities are coordinated by GreenMountain under the leadership of Ronel Wheeler andMatthew Green.

The historic Silver Hills Stone House and surrounding land will be the venue for artists responding through art to the past, by observing and esteeming the present.

The public is warmly invited to observe the creative energy at work on Saturday, and view all installations on Silver Hills and in the Crocodile River Reserve beyond.

The weekend will feature paintings, installations art, sculpture, projections and animation, photography and art from found objects from the site.

GreenMountain invites all artists to send proposals, a short biography and artists statement through to Ronel and Matthew.
